about

a digital fashion photography studio
built for the 3D era.

humanoid creates photorealistic campaign imagery directly from 3D garment files — before a single physical sample exists.

Founded by London-based fashion photographer Simian Coates, humanoid combines 25 years of editorial image-making with a proprietary AI production pipeline trained exclusively on Simian’s photographic archive.

Every image begins with the same 3D garment file used in production. That technical accuracy is combined with professional studio lighting, photographic composition, and editorial direction to create imagery that feels authored rather than artificially generated.

humanoid allows brands and designers to visualise, market, and validate collections before manufacturing — reducing waste, logistics, and overproduction without compromising visual quality.

No physical sample. No traditional shoot. No scraped data.

why humanoid

fashion imagery,
not generic AI.

Photographer-trained, not stock-trained

humanoid is trained on a proprietary archive of professional editorial photography — not scraped internet imagery or generic datasets.

Real photographic direction

The realism comes from professional image-making: controlled lighting, composition, emotional expression, and the subtle imperfections that make fashion photography feel believable.

Human creative oversight

Every image passes through a curated photographic workflow with professional review and quality control.

Your garment design + our photographic expertise

The craft remains. The waste disappears.

editorial studio

bespoke imagery
beyond the virtual studio.

Editorial campaigns created from 3D garments, photographic archives, and creative direction.

The Editorial Studio is humanoid’s bespoke image-making division — developed for brands, publications, and creative teams seeking something beyond standard campaign production.

Working from moodboards, references, and narrative direction, humanoid combines proprietary photographic training, 3D garment integration, and cinematic visual development to create authored digital fashion imagery with the atmosphere of a real editorial shoot.

No samples. No waste. No limits. Just storytelling.

questions

practical details
before access.

pricing

humanoid is currently in private beta. Pricing is offered by project, volume, and access level while we refine the studio workflow with early clients.

Partner rates, launch offers, and volume-based packages may be available for selected brands, studios, and 3D fashion teams.

UK customers are charged 20% VAT at checkout and receive a VAT-compliant invoice.

how long will it take?

humanoid is not designed as an instant image generator. Every render is reviewed through a human-in-the-loop quality process to check garment accuracy, lighting, texture, and photographic realism.

During private beta, most projects are delivered within 1–2 business days depending on queue volume and complexity.

is my design IP safe?

Your garment files, designs, and creative assets remain your intellectual property. humanoid does not use client garments or collections to train public AI models.

Files are stored securely, processed privately, and removed after delivery according to the agreed project terms.

what happens if I’m not satisfied?

Every image is reviewed before delivery. If an output does not meet the agreed creative or technical standard, humanoid will review the result and offer a correction, credit, or refund where appropriate.
